The POC Skin GS Suit is a FIS-approved ski racing speed suit built for giant slalom and alpine ski racing competition. Its close race fit, durable fabric and integrated padding give racers the protection, comfort and freedom of movement needed for gate training and race day. The highly durable fabric is designed to minimize snagging and pilling from the Velcro fastenings used on shin and forearm guards, helping the suit withstand repeated contact with race protection throughout the season.

Foam padding is integrated into the arms, hips and legs to improve comfort beneath hardshell race protection without adding unnecessary bulk. The POC Skin GS Suit is shaped to accommodate POC VPD back protection. Grippers at the lower leg openings and extended sleeves with thumbholes help keep the suit securely in place as you move through the course, while a DWR treatment resists light snow and rain.

The POC Skin GS Suit conforms to FIS regulations for competition speed suits and can be used in FIS-sanctioned alpine ski racing. Its close-fitting construction provides a supportive, comfortable fit while maintaining the mobility racers need in an aerodynamic tuck and through GS turns.

Durable Race Fabric

The highly durable fabric resists the snagging and pilling that can occur when Velcro fastenings on shin and forearm guards contact a speed suit. This added durability is especially useful for racers who repeatedly put on and remove hardshell protection during gate training and competition.

Integrated Foam Padding

Foam padding is positioned at the arms, hips and legs to improve comfort beneath external hardshell protectors. The integrated design keeps the padding in place while avoiding the bulk of an additional padded layer.

POC Protection Compatibility

The suit is shaped to work with POC race protection worn underneath, including VPD back protectors and the VPD Air Comp Jacket. POC Resistance Layer and Base Armor protective base layers can also be worn beneath the suit to enhance laceration protection.

Secure Race Fit
